Need
A Taiwan-based medical institution needed to improve Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging analysis, where interpretation relies heavily on individual specialist experience and time-intensive manual review. As imaging volume increased, the team needed to maintain diagnostic consistency, reduce fatigue-related risk, and identify potential lesion risks more efficiently.
Solution
The institution deployed MSI’s G4201 GPU Server with 8 NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada Generation GPUs and Phison’s aiDAPTIV+ platform to build an AI-assisted imaging workflow. GPU parallel computing accelerated large-scale medical image processing, while aiDAPTIV+ expanded usable memory for data-intensive AI workloads, creating a scalable foundation for PET analysis beyond manual review.
Impact
With AI-assisted PET analysis in place, the institution gave physicians stronger support for reviewing imaging data and identifying lesion risks. The workflow helped reduce the burden of time-intensive manual review, support more consistent interpretation, and improve the efficiency of diagnostic decision-making as imaging volume continued to grow.
